Round Shallot

Round shallots are a type of onion, and they are known for their mild, sweet flavour and distinct shape. They have a more subtle taste compared to regular onions and are often used in cooking to add depth and complexity to dishes. Shallots typically have multiple cloves within a single bulb, and their skin is usually reddish-brown or coppery.

Like our banana shallots, they can be grown in various regions, and Italy’s climate and fertile soil provides a suitable environment. Shallots are planted in November to December, harvested in mid-June until mid-July and have a 6-month shelf life.
