Orange Cauliflower

Orange cauliflower, also known as cheddar cauliflower or orange-headed cauliflower, is a colourful variant of traditional cauliflower that can be found in Italy. It stands out due to its vibrant orange color, which is a result of higher levels of beta-carotene. Beta-carotene is a natural pigment that also acts as a precursor to vitamin A.

It requires similar growing conditions to other cauliflower varieties, and can be grown in the cooler seasons of spring and autumn. It’s relatively hardy and can tolerate some frost.
