Green Cauliflower

The green cauliflower has a medium sized head, it is characterised by its vibrant green hue and delightful taste. It is grown especially in the central and southern regions of the Italian peninsula. Like its white counterpart, is a nutritious vegetable, good source of fibre, vitamins C and K, and various B vitamins. It also contains minerals like potassium and folate. The green color indicates the presence of chlorophyll. It requires similar growing conditions to other cauliflower varieties, and can be grown in the cooler seasons of spring and autumn. It’s relatively hardy and can tolerate some frost.
