Watermelons

Watermelons are grown in many regions across southern Italy, including Sicily, Puglia, and Calabria. Some common varieties include the “Crimson Sweet,” “Sugar Baby,” and “Bardella.” The harvest season generally takes place during the summer months, usually starting in May and lasting through to September.
